Monday Night Worship

What to expect:

We realize it is a big step to connect with a Christian community at UVM and so we do all we can to be user-friendly. You should expect to be welcomed into an environment where your thoughts and desires matter. We value communicating in a way that is clear so you understand it. We do music in a way that is real so that you can experience it. When things aren't self-explanatory, we'll unpack it for you.

Some of the regulars at MNW are dessert and coffee, music with singing, a short talk, discussion, and prayer.

Chi Alpha offers a wide variety of overseas missions trips. Check out http://www.xamissions.com/ for more information on opportunities to make a difference.

In March of 2011 we hosted a "One Less Beer for Japan" table to raise money for tsunami and earthquake relief work.

During Spring Break 2011 we sent a team to work with San Francisco City Impact.

During Spring Break 2010 a team of Chi Alpha students from UVM went to Guatemala. We built houses for several families. It was awesome!

Retreats

Sometimes we just need to get away. Breaking out of the routine can provide us with the needed space to think clearly and to reconnect with God. Each semester Chi Alpha offers a weekend retreat.

Small Groups

Small groups are a great way to get to know other students! Each group meets for approximately 90 minutes (times and days vary by group.) This is a time to talk about how your week is going, pray for each other, and to discuss the Bible.
